These terms cover your use of nfcify, an app made by Rad Soft, Inc. (“we”). By using nfcify you agree to them. If you got nfcify from the App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; if you got it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.
Using nfcify
nfcify reads, writes, copies, erases, password-protects and locks NFC tags. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use it on devices you own or control. Please don’t copy, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute the app except where the law allows it.
Tags you change
Only write to, erase, copy, password-protect or lock tags that you own or have permission to change. You’re responsible for what you put on a tag and for how others might use it, so don’t use nfcify to mislead people, send them to harmful links or get around access controls, payment systems or security features.
Passwords and locking can’t be undone
Locking a tag makes it read-only for good, and no app can unlock it. nfcify doesn’t keep a copy of tag passwords, so if you forget one, that tag can’t be changed again. We can’t recover a locked tag or a lost password for you. nfcify asks you to confirm before it locks a tag; please read those prompts carefully.
Your data
There’s no account, and your scans and drafts stay on your phone. The privacy policy explains the anonymous usage statistics nfcify sends and how to turn them off.
Availability
What nfcify can do depends on your phone, its operating system and the tag. Some tags and features only work on some devices. We may change, improve or remove features, and we don’t promise that every tag will work.
Disclaimers
nfcify is provided as is and as available, to the maximum extent the law allows. Rad Soft, Inc. disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee that a read or write will succeed or that a tag won’t be damaged.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, Rad Soft, Inc. isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, tags, profits or opportunities arising from your use of nfcify. Some places don’t allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. Using nfcify after an update means you accept the new terms.
